TANZANIA ENRICH Kick-off and Baseline Study

It was really kicked off in a style to build a stronger Tanzanian team and to make a clear vision on how the ENRICH project activities shall be executed in Tanzania to ensure successes for the next three years. 

On the other hand, this kick off gathering succeeded in bringing in members of Mzumbe University and COSTECH through awareness raising and preparing them for potential contribution in the project during the next three years.

The meeting was held at COSTECH offices in Dar es Salaam on 23rd June 2014. So to say the ENRICH project is alive and going in Tanzania.

TZ Baseline Study

The baseline study, which was conducted through benchmarking questionnaires, is now complete in Tanzania. The task covered the entire Tanzania.

A total of 73 organizations throughout the country were involved. Among these organizations were: 28 academic institutions, 6 government institutions, 18 NGO institutions and 21 private institutions.

Rich base information on current access, use and sustainability of energy in Tanzania has been collected.
