The AVU leads a Benchmarking Survey on Innovation Ecosystem in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania

The African Virtual University, alongside with its partners is leading a survey targeting researchers and managers of Universities as well as governmental organizations, managers of enterprises and other organizations in the energy field.

This survey is looking at the Innovation Ecosystem: Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) policies, initiatives and support services.

The survey is part of the project Enhancing Energy Accessibility & Efficiency through establishing sustainable STI Support National Networks with a regional dimension in East Africa – ENRICH. The countries involved in the action are Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Scotland and Spain as Project coordinator.

The results of the survey will be used to identify strengths and weaknesses of STI activities in this 3 east African countries and will be followed by a report and recommendations to Higher Education Institutions.
