The International Conference "Fostering Cooperation in Energy Efficiency and Accessibility in East Africa" is being organised in the framework of the ENRICH and SUCCEED Network projects, financed by the European Commission through the EU-ACP cooperation programmes ACP S&T and EDULINK. The conference will be co-hosted by Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) and Mzumbe University.

This International Conference aims to bring together stakeholders involved in the field of Energy from academia, researchers, project managers, NGOs, representatives of the industry and policy makers in order to encourage dialogue and strengthen cooperation links in the energy sector in East Africa. The International Conference will enhance awareness of the real needs of Science, Technology and Innovation related to Energy Access and Efficiency, and to foster discussions on how the Higher Education system can contribute to this.

The Conference format will include PowerPoint & poster presentations, discussion panels and networking sessions. 

The International Conference: Fostering Cooperation in Energy Efficiency and Accessibility in East Africa will take place on 13 & 14 March 2017 in Z Ocean Hotel Kihinani in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
